Open water diver Designed for the beginner, this course will introduce you to the wonders of the aquatic realm. The course is designed to be fun, educational and enjoyable.

The schedule is normally carried out over four days.

Day 1
An easy morning academic session covers some of scuba diving’s fundamentals, Snorkling techniques and shallow confined water diving in the afternoon introduce you to some of the skills required as a diver.

You course instructor will help you confidently master these skills in a calm and relaxed manner? After all you are on holiday.

Day 2
You build on yesterdays exciting experiences and master a few more challenges as your diving proficiency grows.

Day 3
You’ve waited almost your whole life for this one! After learning how to safely plan your dives, Your instructor will take you on your first two Open Water certification dives, at two of Koh Tao’s beautiful dive sites.

Day 4
Almost certified! You’ll make two final certification dives in the morning, at two mare of Koh Tao dive sites, In the afternoon you’ll take a final review from your Instructor and also receive your certification card.

If it sounds easy, that’s because it is.

The Stress & Rescue Specialty Programme is designed to develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. This certification is an important step in expanding your knowledge, experience, and confidence as a diver.

To enroll in the course all you need to do is complete an SSI Open Water course (or equivalent).

There is also a requirement that, prior to Stress & Rescue Diver certification, you must have a C.P.R. certification from a recognized agency within the last two years.

The SSI Stress & Rescue Course runs over three days and covers various topics relating to the analysis and prevention of diving related accidents. If combined with the Medic First Aid course the time required is four days.

At the end of the course you will receive your SSI Stress & Rescue Specialty card.
